I have always had a commitment to ensuring that support for Special Educational Needs and further education is available for everyone in South West Hertfordshire and the United Kingdom. This remains one of my top priorities.

SEND Budget Removed

📚 Support for special educational needs is a concern for many families in my constituency, and it is worrying that the Office for Budget Responsibility has questioned the £6 billion removed by Labour from local authorities to fund these provisions.

This morning I visited Breakspeare School, an Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ SEND school, in Abbots Langley to hear about the challenges they’re facing.Breakspeare School provides vital support for children with special educational needs, but their current site is outdated and not purpose-built.
