I made an intervention to the Water Minister to ask how her department is continuing to protect our precious chalk streams and waterways from overflow and pollution.
The Water Special Measures Bill could build on the previous Conservative Government’s progress on strengthening regulation, improving infrastructure, and holding water companies accountable for sewage discharges.
I will continue to push for stronger protections to safeguard our environment and ensure cleaner waterways for our communities.
