As part of Carers Week, this Friday I was pleased to visit Elizabeth and Community Learning Partnership in South Oxhey.
For 20 years, Community Learning Partnership has helped hundreds of local residents each year build confidence, develop new skills and access opportunities through family learning, employment support, English language classes and wellbeing programmes.
Our discussion also highlighted the challenges facing many charities and community organisations, particularly around short-term funding and increasing financial pressures. We must make sure they have the stability to continue this work.
