The Housing Minister has rejected Three Rivers District Council’s appeal against the Government’s decision to direct the emerging local plan, calling it highly likely to be “unsound.”
This means the Labour Government can now push through building on more sites across our area, at least 4,218 homes.
This is entirely the fault of the local Lib Dem-run council. After I warned them for years, they failed to get a proper plan through, which would have given local voices more power to shape development.
Three Rivers needs a council that will protect our Green Belt.
Vote Conservative on the 7th of May.
