I was on the Underground and came across this striking campaign by Mencap, a reminder of the serious inequalities that people with learning disabilities face.
As a former trustee of a SEND school, I know how important it is that we continue improving support and access to services. I’m regularly in contact with @watfordmencap, who do brilliant work locally, and I’m continuing to listen to families and organisations to help shape services that offer opportunity and support for all.
