It was great to meet with the National Autistic Society in Parliament to hear about their vital work supporting autistic people and their families across the UK.
From improving diagnosis times to ensuring better access to special needs education and employment opportunities, there is still much to be done to make society more inclusive.
As a former governor of a SEND school, I’ve seen first-hand the challenges families face in accessing the right support. I’ll continue working to ensure that autistic people in South West Hertfordshire and beyond get the help they need.
