How can we support children with Special Educational Needs and alleviate the challenges parents face in getting the right help for their child?
These are the questions I raised in yesterday’s Westminster Hall Education debate. In South West Hertfordshire, 17% of children have additional needs, but some schools take on far more than others, creating pressure on resources and unfairness in the system.
I’ve urged the Education Minister to make sure all schools are properly equipped to support every child, and to consider changes to the statutory framework on parent choice, so that every family has access to the quality education they deserve.
