🟣 Today I went to City Hall to deliver a letter to the Mayor of London about unfair TfL travel concessions.
Many people in South West Hertfordshire rely on TfL services every day, yet they do not receive the same concessions as those living literally just a few hundred metres over the border.
After TfL refused to meet with me, it is disappointing that neither the Mayor nor his Deputy were available to speak today. In my letter, I shared that 96% of local residents believe these concessions should be extended and only 6% feel TfL provides a good service.
I look forward to receiving the Mayor’s reply and hope this will lead to a meeting with Hertfordshire County Council to review concession rules.
