In recent months, Gagan has received a number of emails from residents in Rickmansworth and Chorleywood surrounding a rise in attempted burglaries that have occurred in the area.
When he was elected in 2019, Gagan committed to ensuring streets in South West Hertfordshire are kept safe. With Hertfordshire being one of the safest counties in the country, Gagan is both proud and thankful for all of the work local police forces have done in protecting communities.
However, following recent developments in Rickmansworth and Chorleywood, Gagan has written to the Hertfordshire Police and Crime Commissioner, David Lloyd, and the Rickmansworth Safer Neighbourhood Team to arrange a meeting about this as soon as possible. Gagan will continue to keep residents updated about this when any developments are forthcoming.
