Following the release of data from the Environment Agency yesterday on Storm Overflows in 2023, it is clear that - while the abnormal rainfall has contributed to the figures - we must continue to hold water companies to account to protect our rivers.
Gagan will continue to engage with Thames Water and push them to do more to keep South West Hertfordshire's beautiful chalk streams free from pollution, and support our Government's efforts to monitor the quality of our rivers and ensure water companies do what they should be to doing protect them.
