During the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Oral Questions, Gagan Mohindra successfully 'bobbed' to ask the Secretary of State, Michael Gove, on how he can ensure that his constituents of South West Hertfordshire have their voices heard during contentious local planning matters, such as in the current application for over 1,400 new homes in Tring.
Whilst it is important that the Government meets housing needs, Gagan believes that it is equally important that prime Green Belt land is protected wherever possible.He will continue to uphold his pledge to protect Green Belt land in South West Hertfordshire and will work with his colleagues and local authorities to ensure this is the case.
