Gagan was disappointed to learn that the NatWest branch in Rickmansworth is closing down. That is why he invited Dami and Sharon from NatWest down to Parliament to discuss the impact that the closure will have on residents.
Gagan is aware that this will be difficult for many constituents who rely on in-person banking, particularly elderly people. He conveyed this to NatWest in our meeting and was glad to hear that NatWest are exploring steps to help customers after the closure. They are looking into offering services via the local Post Office, and Gagan hopes that this will enable residents to access the services they need. During their conversation, NatWest also shared how they are hosting digital upskilling sessions to help people who wish to use online banking.
Gagan wants to hear from local residents about their thoughts on the closure, and about what services they think should be available locally. Please email [email protected] with your thoughts on this important issue.
