Rickmansworth is a beautiful suburban town situated in the Southern part of my constituency. It is full of well-maintained residential streets and serves as a hub for socialising in the local area.
With several small cafes and pubs on the high street, as well as an authentic traditional butcher, Rickmansworth represents a true gem in my constituency. Watersmeet Theatre is utilised as a venue for numerous local and national events with everything ranging from movie screenings to comedy shows being hosted there. The Three Rivers Museum provides a fascinating insight into the history of the town and surrounding area.
With the introduction of the Metropolitan Railway Station in the 1920s, Rickmansworth grew into the commuter town it is today, even though it still preserves its roots of being a traditional town with an emphasis on community.
As a big cricket fan, I thoroughly enjoy visiting Rickmansworth Cricket Club to see the excellent youth teams it has on offer.
