The MHCLG have rapidly scaled up doorstep food deliveries to ensure a safety net for all those clinically extremely vulnerable that may not have wider social support and have delivered over 380,000 food packages to doorsteps.
The Government have made technical amendments to the Regulations on burial and crematoria grounds this week to clarify that burial grounds and the grounds surrounding a crematorium do not have to close.
In partnership with local authorities more than 5,400 rough sleepers across the country - over 90% of those on the streets at the beginning of the crisis known to local authorities - have been made offers of safe accommodation.
