It was great to welcome members of the u3a UK down to Westminster for a tour of Parliament recently.
The u3a support lots of fun activities for those no longer in work across the UK and here in South West Hertfordshire, and it was a pleasure to host this group for a tour.

It’s the Great British Spring Clean! To help keep South West Hertfordshire tidy last week Gagan joined the team at KFC Rickmansworth on an early morning litter pick around Moneyhill Parade. A big thank you to all the businesses and organisations working to keep South West Hertfordshire clean.
After holding a surgery in Maple Cross, Gagan took the opportunity to knock on neighbours’ doors living on Hornhill Road. Gagan asked constituents about local issues they were facing and heard on several occasions there were issues with traffic lights on Denham Way/ A412.
This week is English Tourism week which is why Gagan was delighted to have visited Warner Bros studios tour in Leavesden. The Warner Bros. Studio Tour London is internationally renowned and attracts approximately 2 million tourists to Leavesden each year.
A few weeks ago Gagan met with some fellow MPs in South West Hertfordshire! These MPs were a lot younger than Gagan and his colleagues - they had been elected by their classmates to be "MPs" at St Paul’s Primary School in Chipperfield!
Gagan recently held one of his regular constituency surgeries - this time at Maple Cross Community Club. It was great to meet with multiple constituents to discuss the issues that are important to them, which this time included our local environment, housing, and health issues.
Gagan is delighted to report that the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities has dismissed the appeal and refused planning permission for 1400 homes to be built around Marshcroft Lane, near to our greenbelt land in Tring.
