Today Gagan met with Lee Rowley MP, the Housing Minister, to discuss the revisions to the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF). The NPPF provides local councils with guidance about the kind of planning permission it should and should not be granting.
Last week Gagan visited Maple Cross JMI & Nursery School to talk to pupils and staff about their excellent environmental initiatives. The school has established a student-led Eco Council, which has worked to reduce energy waste.
Today Gagan was highly motivated to visit a Prostate Cancer event in Parliament and play his role in helping to spread awareness about this type of cancer.
Flooding is an important issue for Gagan and he has worked hard to help reduce and mitigate flooding in South West Hertfordshire. Today Gagan visited affected areas in Sarratt and Rickmansworth to assess the level of flooding and the impact that this has on the local community.
Gagan had the pleasure of visiting the talented winners and runners-up of his annual Christmas Card competition on Friday. The delighted young artists received a special House of Commons Teddy Bear along with a copy of the Christmas Card they skillfully designed.
